# Get Bot • AI Agent SDK

> get_bot: Get a registered bot by platform name.

# get\_bot

Method

> This is a method of the [**BotOSProtocol**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/BotOSProtocol.md) class in the [**protocols**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/protocols.md) module.

Get a registered bot by platform name.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def get_bot(platform: str) -> Optional[Any]
```

## Parameters

**platform** `str` *required*

Platform identifier (e.g. "telegram").

### Returns

**Returns** `Optional[Any]`

The Bot instance, or None if not found.
