Add a reaction emoji to a message.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
async def add_reaction(channel_id: str, message_id: str, emoji: str) -> bool
```

## Parameters

**channel\_id** `str` *required*

Channel containing the message

**message\_id** `str` *required*

Message to react to

**emoji** `str` *required*

Emoji to add (Unicode or custom emoji ID)

### Returns

**Returns** `bool`

True if reaction was added successfully
