# resolved\_max\_steps

Method

> This is a method of the [**ExecutionConfig**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/ExecutionConfig.md) class in the [**feature\_configs**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/feature_configs.md) module.

Single, unified step budget honoured by both tool-execution loops.

Returns max\_steps when explicitly set, otherwise falls back to max\_iter
so existing defaults keep working (backward compatible).

## Signature

def resolved_max_steps() -> int
```

### Returns

**Returns** `int`

The result of the operation.
