# Has Changed • AI Agent SDK

> has_changed: Check if file has changed since last indexing.

# has\_changed

Method

Check if file has changed since last indexing.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def has_changed(filepath: str) -> bool
```

## Parameters

**filepath** `str` *required*

Path to file

### Returns

**Returns** `bool`

True if file is new or changed

## Uses
