Method

Delete an item by ID.

## Signature

def delete(item_id: str) -> bool
```

## Parameters

**item\_id** `str` *required*

ID of the item to delete \*\*kwargs: Backend-specific options

### Returns

**Returns** `bool`

True if deleted, False otherwise
