Method

Add a new entry to the store.

## Signature

def add(content: str, metadata: Optional[Dict[str, Any]]) -> Dict[str, Any]
```

## Parameters

**content** `str` *required*

The content to store

**metadata** `Optional`

Optional metadata dictionary

### Returns

**Returns** `Dict[str, Any]`

Dictionary with entry details including 'id'
