# launch

Method

> This is a method of the [**McpLauncherProtocol**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/McpLauncherProtocol.md) class in the [**protocols**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/protocols.md) module.

Launch MCP server for the agent.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def launch(agent: Any, path: str, port: int, host: str, debug: bool) -> None
```

## Parameters

**agent** `Any` *required*

The agent instance to serve

**path** `str` (default: '/')

Base path for MCP endpoints

**port** `int` (default: 8000)

Server port (default: 8000)

**host** `str` (default: '0.0.0.0')

Server host (default: '0.0.0.0')

**debug** `bool` (default: False)

Enable debug mode (default: False)
