Deliver a message to a symbolic target.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
async def send(target: str, text: str) -> 'DeliveryResult'
```

## Parameters

**target** `str` *required*

Symbolic target token ("origin", "\<platform>", "\<platform>:\<chat\_id>\[:\<thread\_id>]", or a friendly alias).

**text** `str` *required*

The message text to send.

### Returns

**Returns** `'DeliveryResult'`

class:`DeliveryResult` describing the outcome.
