# is\_paired

Method

Check if a channel is authorized.

## Signature

def is_paired(channel_id: str, channel_type: str) -> bool
```

## Parameters

**channel\_id** `str` *required*

Channel identifier

**channel\_type** `str` *required*

Type of channel

### Returns

**Returns** `bool`

True if channel is paired/authorized
