# tripped

Method

> This is a method of the [**RestartLoopGuard**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/RestartLoopGuard.md) class in the [**protocols**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/protocols.md) module.

Return whether the breaker is currently tripped without recording.

Prunes aged-out events first so a burst that has since gone quiet is
no longer considered a live loop.
