# activate

Method

> This is a method of the [**SkillLoader**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/SkillLoader.md) class in the [**loader**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/loader.md) module.

Activate a skill by loading its full instructions (Level 2).

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def activate(skill: LoadedSkill) -> bool
```

## Parameters

**skill** `LoadedSkill` *required*

LoadedSkill instance to activate

### Returns

**Returns** `bool`

True if activation succeeded
