# Idle Days • AI Agent SDK

> idle_days: Days since the skill was last used (or created if never used).

# idle\_days

Method

> This is a method of the [**SkillProperties**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/SkillProperties.md) class in the [**models**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/models.md) module.

Days since the skill was last used (or created if never used).

Returns None when no timestamp is available. Used by lifecycle
curator plugins to decide active -> stale -> archived transitions.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def idle_days() -> Optional[float]
```

### Returns

**Returns** `Optional[float]`

The result of the operation.

## Uses

* `datetime.fromisoformat`
* `datetime.now`
* `delta.total_seconds`
