# Attach Gateway Runtime • AI Agent SDK

# attach\_gateway\_runtime

Method

> This is a method of the [**SupportsGatewayRuntime**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/classes/SupportsGatewayRuntime.md) class in the [**protocols**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/protocols.md) module.

Wire the gateway runtime seams into this adapter.

Only seams present (non-`None`) on `runtime` should be applied;
seams left `None` mean the gateway has nothing to inject and the
adapter must keep its existing value.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def attach_gateway_runtime(runtime: 'GatewayRuntimeSeams') -> None
```

## Parameters

**runtime** `GatewayRuntimeSeams` *required*

The gateway reliability seams to attach.
