# Create Dakera Memory Adapter • AI Agent SDK

# create\_dakera\_memory\_adapter

Factory function to create a Dakera memory adapter.

Lazy imports the `dakera` SDK and creates an adapter that wraps a
`DakeraClient` to implement `MemoryProtocol`. Dakera is a self-hosted
memory server providing decay-weighted vector recall scoped by `agent_id`.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def create_dakera_memory_adapter() -> MemoryProtocol
```

### Returns

**Returns** `MemoryProtocol`

MemoryProtocol adapter instance.

### Exceptions
