Register a runtime factory with the global registry.

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def register_runtime(runtime_id: str, factory: Callable[[], AgentRuntimeProtocol]) -> None
```

## Parameters

**runtime\_id** `str` *required*

Unique identifier (e.g., "praisonai", "claude-code")

**factory** `Callable` *required*

Factory function that returns an AgentRuntimeProtocol instance \*\*metadata: Additional metadata for the runtime

## Uses

* `_global_registry.register`
