> resolve_harness: Resolve a model id to a :class:`HarnessProfile`.

# resolve\_harness

Function

> This function is defined in the [**profiles**](https://praison.ai/docs/sdk/reference/praisonaiagents/modules/profiles.md) module.

Resolve a model id to a :class:`HarnessProfile`.

Unknown / falsy models return :data:`DEFAULT_PROFILE` (no behaviour change).

## Signature

```python theme={"theme":{"light":"vitesse-light","dark":"vitesse-dark"}}
def resolve_harness(model: Optional[str]) -> HarnessProfile
```

## Parameters

**model** `Optional[str]` *required*

The model id string (e.g. `"claude-opus-4"`).

### Returns

**Returns** `HarnessProfile`

The first matching profile, or the default profile.
