# Resolve Required Scope • AI Agent SDK

# resolve\_required\_scope

Function

Resolve the scope required to invoke `method` with `params`.

Default-deny: an unclassified/unknown method requires `ADMIN` so new
control surface is closed until explicitly classified — the omission fails
**closed** rather than open. A non-string (or unhashable) `method` is
likewise treated as unclassified and requires `ADMIN`, so a malformed
frame fails closed deterministically instead of raising `TypeError`.
