# Get Available Tools • AI Agents Framework
> get_available_tools: Return list of available tools for agent assignment.
# get\_available\_tools
Method
> This is a method of the [**BaseAutoGenerator**](../classes/BaseAutoGenerator) class in the [**auto**](../modules/auto) module.
Return list of available tools for agent assignment.
Routes through the canonical ToolResolver (single source of truth) so
the LLM is shown only tools that are actually installed. Falls back to
the frozen `AVAILABLE_TOOLS` list solely when the resolver is
unavailable or returns nothing.
